"Any licenced repairer can do the service as long as it is in line with the manufacturer's standards. You do not have to have the servicing done at the dealer you bought the vehicle from". - https://www.nsw.gov.au/driving-boating-and-transport/buying-and-selling-vehicles/vehicle-repairs-and-maintenance
Double Envelopment Pty Ltd are a fully licenced Motorcycle Workshop in Thornton NSW (Near Newcastle and Maitland) Licence number MVRL59303. We CAN service your new motorcycle or scooter without voiding it's manufacturer warranty.
According to the Australia Consumer Law handout for Motor Vehicle sales and repairs, to maintain most manufacturers defect warranties, repair work carried out must meet the following criteria.
• Be completed by qualified staff
• Be completed according to the manufacturer’s specification
• Be completed using appropriate quality parts where required.
We meet and exceed these standards, our techs are constantly staying up to date with the latest tools and tech, our business model supports our staff to further their education and qualifications. One of our staff members went to Tafe in late 2024 to get the qualification to "depower and repower battery electric vehciles". And we've since been working on some of the new electric Benzina Zero registered scooters zooming around the Newcastle suburbs.
Our company also deals with importers that bring in premium lubricants and filters including many genuine OEM items. And when it comes to servicing new motorcycles, our staff follow a checklist of items to check/ service to ensure effective outcomes for our clients.
If you have a new Yamaha, Honda, Kawasaki or many other makes and models. We can do your logbook services and would be happy to hear from you.
