Our client from Lambton was in need of some help with their Piaggio 125cc. It appears someone had tried to steal it?

It's unfortunately quite common. This week alone in the Newcastle area we've had three phone calls of scooters specifically being targeted. The damage varies from damaged panels to access wiring, damaged wiring to steering being mis-aligned.

The misalignment of the steering is usually from an attempt to get past the steering lock. With this scooter it was the case the steering was way out of alignment. We were able to repair that nice and quickly, it also was due for an annual service, brake fluid replacement and bleeding, and a new scooter tyre a 120/70-12. With rego coming up we also did a pinkslip.

Our recommendation to our customers in the Newcastle area with scooters is to invest in a disc lock, we sell them they start from $39.95 and are a great deterrent when it comes to theives.
